Το συγκρότημα των
Silent Rage είναι από την Ελλάδα και το
Harvester Of Souls είναι το δεύτερο EP τους ενώ έχουν αποκτήσει μεγάλη εμπειρία παίζοντας μαζί με Shadow Gallery, Rage και Grave Digge.
Σε αυτό το EP μας δίνουν δύο νέα τραγούδια και τρια παλιότερα τα οποία έχουν υποστεί ένα μικρό ... Lifting. Οι
Silent Rage παίζουν
Power Metal και το κάνουν πολύ πολύ καλά. Είναι επιρρεασμένοι από Dream Theater, Helloween, Iron Maiden αλλά και από νεότερες μπάντες όπως οι Avenged Sevenfold. Είναι φρέσκιοι , νέοι , γεμάτοι πάθος για μουσική και αυτό φαίνεται σε κάθε ένα από τα τραγούδια τους. Δυνατά και γρήγορα περάσματα από τις κιθάρες , χτυπητός ρυθμός με μπάσο και ντράμς να συνδιάζονται άψογα φτιάχνοντας έναν μεταλλικό τοίχο, και τα φωνητικά είναι άψογα, δένοντας το όλο θέμα με εξαιρετικό και πραγματικά μαγικό τρόπο.
Το πρώτο κομμάτι που ανοίγει το δίσκο είναι το
Perished In Flames με το οποίο δείχνουν από το πρώτο άκουσμα τα δόντια τους . Ακούγονται τόσο έμπειροι που νομίζεις ότι παίζουν για χρόνια αλλά το πρώτο τους βήμα το έκαναν μόλις το 2006. Τόσο τα φωνητικά όσο και τα solos τους κλέβουν την παράσταση , ενώ το κομμάτι ακροβατεί ανάμεσα στο παλιό και το νέο. Το
Inner Scars είναι πιο ... Γερμανικό μου θυμίζει κάτι ανάμεσα σε BLIND GUARDIAN και HELLOWEEN με τα riff να στριφογυρίζουν στο κρανίο μου δίνοντας μου έναν ευχάριστο πονοκέφαλό. ( που 'ναι ο καφές μου πανάθεμα τον....πίνω μια γουλιά και συνεχίζω, πρωί είναι βλέπετε ακόμα) . Ακούστε τη μελωδία , ύμνος , πραγματικά επικό κομμάτι.
Leading The Legions για τη συνέχεια και τα παιδιά μπαίνουν με δύναμη παίζοντας περισσότερο σε
N.W.O.B.H.M. μονοπάτια με κάτι από Iron Maiden και Queensryche να υπάρχει στην ατμόσφαιρα . Εξαιρετικό πραγματικά. Το ομότιτλο
Harvester Of Souls έρχετε να με συντρίψει. Το riff είναι μέσα από τη Βρετανική Metal σχολή , ρυθμός καταπληκτικός και το κομμάτι μας οδηγεί κατευθείαν από τη δεκαετία του 80 στο 2011 με εξαιρετικά φωνητικά. Ακούγονται κλασικοί αλλά παράλληλα τόσο μοντέρνοι και φρέσκιοι...Με το
Wings Of Tragedy κλείνει ο δίσκος και μου αφήνουν την καλύτερη εντύπωση.
Ένα μόνο έχω να πώ. Το
Harvester Of Souls είναι ένα καταπληκτικό δείγμα του πόσο εξαιρετικό συγκρότημα είναι οι
THE SILENT RAGE. Αλλά μια παράκληση προς το γκρουπ. Βγαλτε ρε παιδιά ένα άλμπουμ. Χαρίστε μας αυτή τη μοναδική εμπειρία...

The band of Silent Rage comes from Greece and Harvester Of Souls is their second EP while they have gained great experience playing with Shadow Gallery, Rage and Grave Digge. In this EP gives us two new songs and three previously but have got a little ... Lifting. The Silent Rage play Power Metal, and they do it very well. Influenced by Dream Theater, Helloween, Iron Maiden, but also from newer bands like Avenged Sevenfold. It's fresh, young, full of passion for music and it shows WITH EACH one of their songs. Powerful and quick passes over the guitars, staring pace bass and drums are combined perfectly to constructing a metal wall, and the vocals are flawless, tying the whole thing with great and really magical way.
The first track opens the disc is Perished In Flames which show from first sound of their power. They sound so experienced you think they play for years but the first step made only in 2006. Both the vocals and solos are stealing the show, while the songs teeter between old and new. The Inner Scars is more ... German reminds me of something between HELLOWEEN and BLIND GUARDIAN with riff to spin in my skull, giving me a pleasant headache. (where is my stupid coffee .... Goddamn, drink a sip and continue is very early in the morning ...). Listen to the melody, hymn, truly epic piece. Leading The Legions of the action and the guys come full of power by playing more NWOBHM paths with something from Iron Maiden and Queensryche to exist in the atmosphere. Excellent really. The same title Harvester Of Souls comes to a crash. The riff is in the British Metal school, amazing rhythm and song takes us through the 80's in 2011 with excellent vocals. Sounds like a classic but also as modern and fresh ... The Wings Of Tragedy closes the album and leaves us with the best impression.
Only one I have to say. The Harvester Of Souls is a great example of how great band THE SILENT RAGE is. But a request to the group. Extract guys an album. Give us this unique experience ...
